Just as in the Days of Elijah, there is coming a time for a HUGE SHOWDOWN between God’s True Prophetic Voice and all the many false prophetic voices (teachers) out there! As they taunted God and mocked His true Prophets so now they will be taunted in this their day of reckoning and their self made god which they have created in their own image, will and intellect, of course, will also be a NO SHOW when push comes to shove and no amount of yelling and cutting of the flesh and shouting will save them in that hour! That time is surely upon us! YOU Just Watch!
“Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out My Hand and no one regarded, because you disdained My Counsel, and would have none of My rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, when your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. Then they will call on Me, but I will NOT answer; they will seek Me diligently, but they will NOT find Me. Because they hated Knowledge and did NOT choose YIRAT YHVH /the FEAR of YHVH, they would have none of My Counsel and despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; BUT whoever LISTENS to Me (WISDOM of MASHIACH YHVH) will dwell safely, and will be secure, WITHOUT FEAR OF EVIL.” Mishley/Proverbs 1:24-33
But to those called of YHVH with a heart of Gold purified by FIRE and who LISTEN to HIS VOICE; it is TIME to Come forth and Present or SHOW yourselves to king Ahav/Achav (representing all backsliden leaders), yes, all of you true Prophets of YHVH ordained from your mother’s wombs (Jeremiah 1) COME and STAND against the spirit of JEZEBEL and Witchcraft so that YHVH may send Spiritual RAIN upon the earth! (1 Kings 18:1)
But first there is a huge lesson we can learn from the life and experiences of Elijah! In order to do so, please note that all you true prophets out there must be aware of Elijah’s shortcomings, why they occurred in the first place and then learn from them! Somehow the prophet Elijah allowed pride to seep in and began to think and BELIEVED that he was better than his forefathers! For immediately after his victory over the false prophets, he ran in fear from Jezebel’s threats, and he prayed to God and said, “It is enough now, YHVH, take my life; for I am NO BETTER than my fathers!” 1 Kings 19:4 What? Who ever told him that he was better than his fathers? He must’ve told himself that many a times and believed it and it became a stronghold and an open door for the enemy to exploit! Is it BUT by the Grace of YHVH that upholds you that you stand Elijah? There is no good thing in you, in and of yourself so guard from such boasting! Then we also discover that he also thought he was the only left of the children of Israel who was truly hearing God’s Voice!
I have to admit that walking and living out the prophetic life can be and does seem lonely most times and one does often wonder whether there is anyone else out there who sees as you see, and hears what you hear! But the moment we start to think that we are better than everyone else, that’s when the spirit of Jezebel and that old serpent can come in and poison us with fear with his empty threats and can even bring defeat upon us even after a glorious Victory such as Elijah had against the 450 false prophets!
By the way, that ratio, my friends, is great proof that we should beware of listening to and following the majority of the voices out there! According to the Tanach/Scripture 99.99% of the times the majority is WRONG/ WAY OFF/ MISSING THE MARK! And the TRUE Prophetic Voice always seem to be going against that majority who prophesy “Peace, Peace when there is NO PEACE!” So seek God for yourselves and search out the Scriptures daily; for you alone will have to stand before the Holy One Blessed be He one day, to give an account of your life and your Halacha, way of serving Hashem! Yes, you and I will be on our own standing before the JUDGE of the Universe, and NOT with our peeps and homies, our chevra nor communities! Every man/woman for him/herself shall stand on his/her own merit and be judged accordingly!
Anyway, Elijah at that moment failed to realize that he was who he was (God’s true Prophet) and that he knew what he knew (the One True God and the expressions of His heart at the given moment) but only by God’s sovereign Choice and Grace upon his life! And God proved it to him by the calling and anointing of Elisha instead to take Elijah’s place as the New Prophet of YHVH, immediately after Elijah’s little sorry episode murmuring under a broom tree in the wilderness that he was better than his fathers and wanted to die!
Now on Elisha’s behalf, that is TOTAL GRACE because as you know from what’s written, Elisha who replaces Elijah as Prophet of YHVH wasn’t even part of the Remnant of the prophets! He was a good farm boy, minding his own business and plowing with twelve yoke of oxen for his Mom and Dad (1 Kings 19:19) and YET God sovereignly chose him to be his next Prophetic Voice for such a time as this and he was given a double portion of Elijah’s Anointing to boot by simply asking for it, just to prove that Hashem’s gifts and calling are NOT gained by works, by status, nor accomplishments of any sort but by God’s Grace alone! Although I believe with all my heart that once this grace has been bestowed upon a person and received such a person should treasure it with his/her life and daily work out his/her own salvation and calling and diligently guard what was graciously deposited unto him by living righteously according to God’s Word and Statutes written in the whole Bible with the help of the Ruach HaKodesh residing in him!
You cannot go on living as you were before or even as the religious masses around you are living, once the Prophetic Mantle such as this gets placed upon you, you are no longer your own! You are marked by the God of the Universe, YHVH! You are now His Servant and no longer just someone’s son or daughter! (see Joel 2:28-29) You MUST then become so SET APART in every way for YHVH’s holy purposes! And that’s where the works and choosing to do what’s right before God at all times come in! “Be holy for I Am Holy says YHVH!” We are sanctified in His Truth for His Word is TRUTH! Guarding against the vultures, wolves and those ugly foxes who come to ruin the Vine and steal what was generously and graciously given unto you will become your daily tasks!
It happens all the time! People after having put their hands on the Plow of the Kingdom somehow allow Jezebel to creep in after they started to walk after MASHIACH in the Spirit, after TRUTH and then comes along some wolf in sheep clothing with a large Bible or some other religious guru comes along and snatches what was deposited into them with smooth talk and empty intellectual words (i.e. the Seminary/ more like the spiritual Cemetery) creating doubts and unbelief in the unsuspected gullible prey and Wooops there it is! Gone with the wind of false doctrines! Little Children of God BEWARE and guard yourselves from FALSE DOCTRINES and false TEACHERS and RUN to YHVH/YESHUA for Shelter & Refuge, NOT to a broom tree in the midst of your wilderness and fear!
