AKI’M ET SUCCAT DAVID/I WILL RAISE UP THE SUCCAH OF DAVID!

“For the sake of my Brothers and Friends I will now say: ‘Peace be within you!’ For the sake of the House of the LORD our GOD, I will seek your GOOD!” Tehilim/Psalm 122:8-9
“Through Wisdom a House is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches!” Mishley/Proverbs 24:3-4
According to the Blueprint in the Bible, before the Beit HaMikdash can be (re)built, the Succah of David must FIRST be rebuilt! Yes, the Tabernacle of David preceded Salomon’s Temple and I believe that it must once again precede the rebuilding of the third Temple, b’Ezrat Hashem! What does all that entail? An atmosphere of Pure & Holy Praise, unstained by the world, in the Spirit of Hashem and in TRUTH, must make Way for the Ark of the Covenant which ushers the Presence, the Shechinah to come and dwell in our midst! Let’s take a look at the ‘Blueprint’ D’var Hashem/The Word of God!
First and foremost, HASHEM said to Amos the prophet in the eighth chapter of the Book of Amos:
“The End has come upon My People Israel; I will NOT pass by them anymore! But the songs of the Temple shall be wailing in that day,’ says the LORD GOD!” Amos 8:2-3
Then Hashem stated all the judgments He will bring upon the people for their corruption and greed and the mistreatment of the poor and the needy, the falsifying of the scales by deceit. Hashem promises that the Land will tremble for this and that He will never forget any of their works! And because of all this Hashem will send a famine on the Land, not a famine of bread, but of hearing with understanding the Words of Hashem! And wandering to and fro, they will seek the Word of the LORD, a “NOW” word for their present situation and they will not find it! They shall faint from thirst because they had forsaken the Fountain of Living Waters, and have hewn for themselves cisterns–broken cisterns that can hold no Water! (See Jeremiah 2:13)
Then Amos continues in the next chapter to describe the LORD’s anger and His stance to bring judgment and correction to His people, and that there will be no hiding from HIM! But Hashem in His Mercy does not utterly destroy the house of Jacob but promises to sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve, and yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground, but on the other hand with the same breath, Amos writes that, all the sinners of God’s People shall die by the Sword, who, instead of humbling themselves and repenting, say: “The calamity or HaRa’a shall not overtake nor confront us!”
This is when it gets good because Hashem said that:
“On that Day, I will raise up the Succah of David, which had fallen down, and repair its damages. I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentile nations who are called by My Name!” Amos 9:11-12
“And on this Mountain, ADONAI TS’VAOT will destroy the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the VEIL that is spread over the NATIONS. He will swallow up Death forever, and the LORD GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the Earth for the LORD has spoken. And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for HIM, and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for HIM! We shall be glad and rejoice in His YESHUA/Salvation! For on this Mountain the Hand of the Lord will rest, and Moav shall be trampled down under HIM, as straw is trampled down for the refuse heap. And He will spread out His hands in their midst as a swimmer reaches out to swim, and He will bring down their pride, together with the trickery of their hands. The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, down to the dust!” Yeshayahu/Isaiah 25:9-12
It is written further in Amos that then the mountains will drip with sweet wine (new joyous songs) and all the hills (high society, people of influence, the nations) shall flow to it! Hashem will bring back the captives of His People Israel who will build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards (anointed Yeshivas-places of study and prayer and worship) and drink wine (be fully satisfied and joyous) from them’ they will make gardens (good deeds, creative businesses) and eat fruit (prosper) from them. Hashem promises to plant (establish, settle) them in the Land, and no longer shall they be pulled up (harrassed in any way) from the Land which He has given them! Ahhhh! I love a ‘Happy Ending!’ Don’t you? It’s so good to trust in Hashem! HOPE in GOD! KAVE EL HASHEM!
But what exactly was Succat David/ the Tabernacle of David? For that we must go to the Blueprint found written in Divrey HaYomim Alef / I Chronicles chapters 15-29 and let’s have fun exploring together! But first, allow me to highlight some key points!
~In chapter 15 we see David HaMelech, having been made king finally after a long season of running from a demonic king who was trying to kill him and abort David’s future as king, is now building houses for himself in the City of David, and as well had he prepared a place for the Ark of God and pitched a tent for it! From the two chapters earlier, David had to learn the hard way that one does NOT simply approach the holy things of GOD lightly; and that there will be fatal results for NOT consulting with HIM first about the proper order of things! When we mishandle the blessings and Presence of the LORD we forfeit a much needed blessing and instead welcome a curse and death into our camp! And once judgment comes then we’d rather not have anything to do with GOD. We become angry because of Hashem’s outbreak or judgment against us and want nothing to do with the Ark of God, and we place it into the hands of others! Until we hear of all the blessings and benefits that the Ark of GOD is bringing elsewhere; then, if we’re like David, we will quickly repent and search the Scriptures to see what exactly is the proper WAY of handling GOD’s Holy Presence and Holy things!
And so David, who is now well-learned, after repenting of his ignorance and after seeking God and searching the Torah, the holy Instructions, as to what they could’ve done wrong, said: “No one may carry the Ark of God but the Levites, for the LORD has chosen them to carry the Ark of God and to minister before HIM forever.” And David gathered all Israel together at Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the LORD to its place, which he had prepared for it. And David gathered the children of Aharon and the Levi’im!….And David called for Tzadok and Eviatar the cohanim/ministers and for the Levi’im….and said to them: ‘You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levi’im; sanctify yourselves, you and your brothers, that you may bring up the Ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it. For because you did not do it the first time, the LORD our God broke out against us, because we did NOT consult HIM about the proper order! So the Cohanim/ministers and the Levi’im sanctified themselves to bring the Ark of the LORD GOD of Israel. And the children of the Levites bore the Ark of GOD on their shoulders, by its poles, as Moses had commanded according to the Word of the LORD!”
“Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brothers to be the singers accompanied by instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, by raising the voice with resounding joy!” Chap 15:2-4, 11-16
And so we have mentioned here that there were different ranks, and different posts and duties, from gatekeepers to singers, to the doorkeepers for the Ark, different musicians and even a Chief Musician in charge of the music, and special ministers who were to blow the trumpets before the Ark of God!
“So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands went to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD from the house of Oved-Edom (Christianity) with JOY! And so it was, when GOD helped the Levites who bore the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD (ARON BRIT-HASHEM), that they offered seven bulls and seven rams. David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who bore the Ark, the singers, and Chenaniah, the minister and music master of all the singers. And upon David was the Ephod! Thus ALL Israel brought up the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the horn, with trumpets, and with cymbals, making music with stringed instruments and harps. And it happened, as the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD came to the City of David, that Michal, Shaul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David dancing and playing music; and she despised him in her heart!” Divrey HaYomim Alef/I Chronicles 15-25-29
“And so they brought the Ark of God, and set it in the midst of the Tent or tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before GOD!” Chap 16:1
After the offerings we read that David blessed the people in the Name of the LORD and gave gifts to the people, and went on to appoint some of the Levites to minister before the Ark of the LORD, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD God of Israel, blowing the trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant of GOD always, regularly, all day and night and everyday of the week! Leaving Asaf and his brothers before the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD to minister before the Ark regularly, morning and evening, as every day’s work required, and to do according to all that is written in the Torah of the LORD which He commanded Israel! And in verse 39 of chapter 16, we are told finally where this Tent or Tabernacle of the LORD was located; it was at the high place that was at GIVON/Gibeon!
And those that were chosen and designated by name were called and appointed to give thanks to the LORD, because His mercy endures forever; sounding aloud with trumpets and cymbals and the musical instruments of GOD!
SO WILL IT NOW BE IN THESE DAYS AS GOD IS RAISING UP THE TENT OF DAVID ONCE AGAIN TO PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE MISHKAN AND MOSHIACH! DESIGNATING, APPOINTING AND CALLING BY NAME THOSE WHO ARE TO PARTAKE IN THIS HOLY ENDEAVOR! MAY WE ALL BE COUNTED WORTHY AND ANSWER THE CALL WHEN IT COMES INDIVIDUALLY! AMEN!
Psalm 98, “Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The LORD has made known His Salvation (Yeshua); His Righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the House of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the Salvation (Yeshua) of our God. Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. Sing to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of a psalm, with trumpets and the sound of a horn; shout joyfully before the LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell in it; let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He shall judge the world, and the peoples with equity.”
Psalm 149, “PRAISE the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, and His praise in the Assembly of the Righteous. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise His name with the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with Salvation (Yeshua). Let the chassidim be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth. And a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment~this honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!”
“For You have been a Shelter for me; a strong Tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your Tent/Tabernacle forever; I will trust in the Shelter of Your Wings. Selah! For You, O GOD, have heard my vows; You have given me the Heritage of those who fear Your Name! You will prolong the king’s life, His years as many generations. He shall abide before GOD forever. Oh prepare Mercy & Truth, which may preserve him! So I will sing Praise to Your Name forever, that I may daily perform my vows!” Tehillim/Psalm 61:4-9
“The LORD your God is in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
“You shall have a song as in the night when a holy festival is kept, and gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute, to come to the mountain of the ~LORD, to the Mighty One of Israel. The LORD will cause His glorious Voice to be heard, and show the descent of His Arm, with the indignation of His anger and the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, tempest, and hailstones. For through the Voice of the LORD Assyria will be beaten down, as He strikes with the rod. And in every place where the staff of punishment passes, which the LORD lays on him, it will be with tambourines and harps; and in battles of brandishing He will fight with it. For Tophet was established of old, yes, for the king it is prepared. He has made it deep and large; its pyre is fire with much wood; the Breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, kindles it.” Isaiah 30:29-33
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says ADONAI~Tsva’ot.” Zechariah 4:6
I declare and decree by the authority given me from YHVH, the God of Heaven & Earth, that the heavy Weight (KAVOD) of the PRESENCE of the LORD, the Almighty GOD of Israel, shall very soon, in due season, return in glorious FULLNESS accompanied with signs and wonders, first to Zion, yes to Jerusalem, & to the entire Land of Israel, & catapulting to the Nations at large in, through and by the Holy & Blessed Name of YESHUA HaMOSHIACH in the Beauty of Holiness by WAY of the Spirit & Truth found in the TORAH as the Ultimate Foundation of this Movement of GOD!!! Consecrate yourselves! Sanctify yourselves in His TRUTH; for His whole Word is TRUTH! AND…..
PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD! AMEN!
